I have a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and began my career in a design agency, moving into book and magazine publishing then events teams, creating design that connected audiences across print and digital.
Eventually, I found the charity sector, using my skills to build campaigns, design materials and support organisations to communicate their purpose effectively.
Over 30 years, I’ve learned that strong design isn’t just about how something looks — it’s about how it works. I combine creative thinking with practical delivery: big ideas with organised systems, vision with execution.

I saw a pattern again and again: passionate small businesses and charities, bursting with ideas, but stretched for time and creative resources.
So in 2026, I launched Sarah Mitchell Creative, providing reliable, strategic design and marketing support without the overheads of hiring in-house.
Now, I work alongside organisations as their creative partner — someone who understands deadlines, brand consistency, fundraising pressures and the importance of getting it right.
